Job description, responsibilities and duties

Workplace center is department of CBRE. We are team of experts in Space and Occupancy management. The team support Workplace Consultant teams in the UK, across Europe and US with global occupancy contracts. We manage our client`s building portfolios as well as support them with space planning, architecture and design activities. We help our clients oversee their buildings portfolio – CAFM /computer aided facility management/ using IWMS /integrated workplace management software/. Our data experts track and analyze space and occupancy data, our CAD experts work with buildings, maintain floorplans and apply local and global standards. Our planners and specialist work on planning, forecasting and designing best solutions for workplace of our clients.

Purpose of the job:
Responsible for the management and evolution of space and occupancy related datasets which support analysis, opportunity finding and business case development ultimately resulting in better use of buildings.
Initial focus will be to maintain the current space management platform by ensuring data rules are being followed and that a consistent method of reporting is being observed.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Own quality process related to all space and occupancy datasets current and future
  • Be the main contact and CBRE owner of the client’s space management system
  • Contribute to and own certain relationships with the space management system vendor
  • Work closely with client’s WREF, CBRE Occupancy & MAC team to develop data sets and reporting outputs
  • Ensure scheduled reporting is delivered according to a predefined frequency and agreed templates
  • Central point for ad-hoc reporting, CAD requests and the coordination of the delivery
  • Own documentation related to the space management system and related reporting
  • Manage a log of client’s space management training and ensuring all users have enough knowledge to maintain consistency
  • Bring the best practice from industry and CBRE related to technology, processes and reporting
  • Carry out all duties in accordance to client and CBRE governance and standards
  • Perform additional job duties as requested

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1)

Personality requirements and skills

• Critical thinking and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
• Knowledge of space management, CAFM and IWMS
• Knowledge of real estate related datasets and their purpose
• Advance skills in data & information analysis, interpretation and visualization with effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to handle a large volume of information and accurate management of large datasets
• Ability to understand connections between datasets and aggregation techniques
• Computer proficiency in relational databases, reporting tools, MS Office (including MS Access) with ability to learn new information management systems quickly. Knowledge of SQL also a benefit
• Ability to work independent with minimal supervision to manage competing priorities and multiple deadlines
• Ability to document processes, procedures and best practices
