Job description, responsibilities and duties

Purpose of the role:
The holder is responsible for the integrated facility management performance, as well as cost management and professional service. He (m / f) is capable successfully manage complex hard & soft-service activities in full range of FM. He (m / f) ensures a continuous improvement of the services respective to cost-effective fulfillment of the customer requirements in compliance with the GWS standards.

Role Summary:

  • Responsible for ensuring facility management (scope of EN ISO 15221) in accordance with the contractually agreed scope of services -multi site / multi country responsibility
  • Regular and intensive customer contact as well as continuous care and improvement of the
business relationship
  • Implementation of standard processes, continuous improvements and Best practice methods
  • Optimizes ongoing and recurring costs (personnel, external and material services, optimization of the in-house depth, optimization of the costs of overhead costs)
  • First customer contact at the location
  • Responsible for meeting and exceeding customer expectations
  • Responsible for the management and coordination of the team (up to 5 direct FTEs and remotes)
  • Operational control through metrics / KPI management
  • Creates a site budget according to central specifications as well as deviation analyzes and defines
measures to achieve the defined financial objectives and to meet the Business Plan account
  • Creation of Financial Forecasts for the locations. Maintain the company's internal rules for financial
processes to ensure punctual and process-based billing
  • Continuous review of all services/suppliers for contractual conformity - supplier strategy
  • Demonstrate possible innovations, variations and / or savings
  • Management of projects for the provision of special services
  • Rebuilding, changes to the office, space planning – cooperation with suppliers
  • Updating client about EHS and Security – with support functional expert
  • Preparation of the documents/procedures to secure access to the office and in the places used in
crisis situation – cooperation with suppliers
  • Supervision of the safety equipment planned maintenances
  • Reporting EHS and security tasks
  • Placing the orders in CBRE system or delegate to subordinates, control suppliers’ activities on Site
  • Any reports requested by CBRE and the client – senior management or/and leadership level

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

• Education (facility management or related branch) or completed training as a master / technician
• Proven, profound professional experience in a comparable position
• Several years of experience in an office / retail company
• Experience in the management and motivation of employees
• Good business management skills
• Flexible and capable of initiating change
• Ability to critically analyze and improve workflows
• Proactivity and self-motivation
• Excellent service orientation
• Good MS Office skills – accent to excel data consolidation and further analysis/outputs
• Good knowledge of the English language
