What will you do?  
The Advanced Analytics / COE team of Cat Digital is seeking a Lead Data Scientist to be a technical expert, working in a team environment, and leading a group of data scientists and software developers to support the development, integration & enhancement for Caterpillar analytics, AI, and Generative AI projects and products.

• Leading people, monitoring their projects, providing help, mentorship, and guidance.
• Leading, exploring, developing, promoting, and implementing various projects focused Machine Learning, AI, and Generative AI.
• Conducting research on data model optimization and algorithms to improve effectiveness and accuracy on data analyses.
• Interacting and collaborating with the Analytics management team, with the team members and colleagues outside the organization, including outside Cat Digital.
• Reporting and presenting team results.

This position works directly with Slovakia based engineering leadership and Cat Digital IT in the US.
