Project manager

We have an immediate opportunity for a Project Manager to join the Carmeuse capex team. The Project Manager will lead end - to - end Capital Construction Projects in the Czech-Hungarian-Slovakian (CZHUSK) area.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead all engineering, permitting, purchasing, construction, inspection, cold and hot testing, and hand - over activities of the project.
• Ensure coordination and communication among the project stakeholders, both internal and external
• Conduct all relevant project reviews with participation of key team members : design, operability and sustainability, process hazards analysis, constructability...
• Support and challenge business, operations and technology groups in defining business cases and alternatives
• Carry out engineering studies, including the relevant tender, prepare the documentation and apply for project approval
• Qualify, with the assistance of purchasing, the engineering, suppliers and construction firm, develop RFP/RFQ, evaluate bid proposal, and place recommendations, contracts and purchase orders
• Coordinate the selected suppliers/contractors, including Good Receipts, invoices verification, change control and contact close-outs.
• Manage Construction Management, Safety Coordination, Quantity Surveying and Quality Control of site activities
• Issue monthly project status to the steering committee
