Job description, responsibilities and duties

Corporate Manager Compensation & Benefits will report directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer and will be responsible for designing and implementing the business' reward strategy.

• Responsibility for designing, developing, implementing and controlling salary, bonus and benefits packages for the employees of an organization.
• Responsibility for collecting market data on the remuneration packages which are offered for employees across the industry in regions where cargo-partner operates.
• Analyzing relevant data in order to make recommendations to senior management about tweaking your organization’s compensation and benefits packages and implementing change once these suggestions have gained approval.
• Ensuring that the compensation packages for employees with the same level of experience and responsibilities are on a par, particularly in instances where no quantitative performance criteria have been set.
• Benchmarking of cost per business units between countries, creating best practice models and suggesting cost optimization where applicable.
• Policy development, strategic management and optimizing the compensation and benefits processes.
• Responsibility for legal aspects within the Corporate HR team, drafting legal documents, communication with external lawyers, creating standards for legal texts within the HR field.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required.

• Experience of compensation areas such as pensions, life assurance, salary structures, reward schemes, cycle to work, childcare vouchers, salary sacrifice agreements
• Ability to design compensation and benefits programs and practices for global locations and align them to regulatory requirements
• A proactive approach with high levels of initiative and ability to anticipate needs, prioritize competing deadlines and take initiative
• Proven track record of handling confidential and sensitive information
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills at different levels in an organization and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, business management and contract law
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & Word
