Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

o Providing OPM role within a team supporting customers in the German banking sector
o Defining and coordinating the operational services in time and quality required by the Customer Operation Centre and Shared Service Delivery organizations
o Analysing, optimizing, and documenting internal processes regarding: Quality, Costs, Output, Productivity
o Supporting Service Management to deliver high quality service to the customer
o Service Level and Escalation Management
o Reporting for our management, Designing/fine-tuning dashboards
o Tracking the progress and overall status of critical/highly visible/escalated tickets and changes
o Managing critical incidents
o Problem Management
o KPI identification and measurement
o Participation in projects (as a supporting/consultancy role)
o Mentoring, consulting on, and managing various processes/OPM trainings
o On-call support, 14 days a month

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2) and German - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

o Deep ITIL knowledge (Request, Change, Incident, Problem management), ITIL Foundations v3/v4 certification is an advantage
o Experience with Service Now or other ITSM tools
o Very good German and English skills are essential (B2, both in written & spoken)
o Experience in operations (3 years at minimum), ideally on the OPM, Management, Teamleader or some Escalation role
o In-depth knowledge of IT processes (e.g. ITIL) and proven experience in IT process management
o Very good Excell, reporting and presentation skills
o Strong customer and result orientation
o Willingness to provide Manager on Duty support, 14 days in a month
o Willingness to occasionally support critical Changes or Escalations out of business hours
