Job description, responsibilities and duties

​Cambridge International School is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial insights to support the company's growth. This role requires a deep understanding of accounting principles, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.

Some of the responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Leading accounting;
  • Bank payments: invoices, salaries, financial contribution, any requests regarding payments;
  • Credit card payments & cash payments;
  • Payroll accounting, communication with the payroll department;
  • Communication with banks (Tatrabanka), any requests regarding payments, payment confirmations, payment cards;
  • Patricipation on budgeting;
  • Communication with tax offices;
  • Various government statistics (subsidies);
  • Monthly closing, Annual closing;
  • Preparing financial statements - balance sheet, profit and loss.
