Job description, responsibilities and duties

As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in leading and coordinating quality assurance activities within our organization. Leveraging your expertise and experience, you will be responsible for developing and implementing quality standards, processes, procedures, and systems to ensure the delivery of high-quality products or services to our customers.


Quality Management System (QMS): Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, VDA, TISAX, ISO 14001).

Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and effectiveness across all aspects of the organization's operations. Utilize quality tools and methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, and root cause analysis.

Quality Assurance: Develop and enforce quality assurance policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure consistent adherence to quality standards throughout the organization.

Quality Control: Oversee and coordinate quality control activities, including inspections, tests, audits, and validation processes, to verify product/service conformity and identify areas for improvement.

Supplier Quality Management: Collaborate with procurement and supplier teams to evaluate supplier performance, conduct supplier audits, and ensure the quality of incoming materials and components.

Risk Management: Identify potential risks to quality and develop mitigation strategies to prevent quality issues and ensure product/service reliability and safety.

Training and Development: Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to quality coordinators and other staff members on quality standards, processes, and tools.

Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, root causes of quality issues, and opportunities for improvement. Prepare regular reports and presentations for management review.

Customer Focus: Monitor customer feedback, complaints, and satisfaction metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Personality requirements and skills

We are searching for an ambitious Senior Quality Coordinator who is ready for a challenge of driving the quality initiatives in an environment of an emerging manufacturing plant.

Successful candidate will have a great opportunity to progress to a Quality Manager role.

  • Bachelor's degree in quality management, engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma Black Belt, Certified Quality Manager) preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, or quality management roles in automotive sector (Tier 1 preferred), with demonstrated leadership and project management capabilities.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management principles, methodologies, and tools, as well as relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Hands on experience with relevant certifications such as ISO 9001 & 14001, IATF 16949, VDA, TISAX
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with attention to detail and a focus on results.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in quality management software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint).
