Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

​In this role the incumbent is responsible for the deployment of TQR/HSE/Facility Management system and processes to reduce work related accidents of Bureau Veritas employees, visitors and contractors as well as reducing our footprint on the environment and improving the quality of the delivered services. He/she works with the Management Team to assist them to improve their operations, activities and performance related to TQR/HSE/FM. Such manager will be also the HSE/FM consultant for the different HSE projects (local, international).

1) District animation

- Lead and animate the TQR/HSE/FM network in the Country (where applicable)
- Participate in the recruitment, training and assessment of TQR/HSE/FM resources
- Coordinate country tasks (Management System, Audit & reports)
- Cascade Group/ Region information to country (newsletter, alerts, feedback from meeting, etc.)

2) Management system
- Identification of local high risks and opportunities and ensure that processes are in place to protect employer, employees and mitigate the environmental impact
- Mapping of local business processes and ensure they are understood and complied with
- Track and report required TQR/HSE KPIs to Regional TQR/HSE
- Support the ISO 9001, 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications (if any)
- Identify and disseminate best practices within the District
- Creating, updating and control of documented information

3) TQR/HSE Prevention
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis of on-performance, propose corrective and preventive actions
- Communicate Group / Regional / District safety alerts to Country organizations
- Deploy Quality/Safety/Facility Management Campaigns in coordination with HR network in the   District/Countries
- Ensure TQR/HSE/FM induction and training material are appropriate, include Group e-learning modules, and coordinate with HR for the annual training plan. Deliver training if necessary.
- Job description review, Service description sheet review
- Maintenance of LTO

4) TQR/HSE Performance
- Offer and contract review (business risk assessment)
- Risk assessment of new products and services
- Conducts incidents & accidents investigation
- Coordinate audit program (internal, external) throughout the TQR/HSE
- Track corrective & preventive action implementation via TQR/HSE
- Collect Management Reviews within the country

5) Facility management

- Managing new and already contracted clients and their responsible employees by means of IT FM tool in terms of access, training and troubleshooting

- Support new and already contracted clients by means of problem-solving approach and communication with IT FM tool provider, client assignees, revision technicians, inspectors and advisors

- Following all contractual requirements within existing and new clients and subcontractors

- Planning, preparing, organizing, performing and reporting of HSE/FM project(s) and its selected particular activities as audits, GAP analysis, etc.

Internal / external ISO auditor, ABT, TPO, inspector HSE

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

The following competencies are required

- Internal and/or external auditor of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001
- English language (written and spoken)
- Knowledge of ISO 19011, 17021 and accreditation process
- ABT + TPO (relevant for SK)
- Ability to systematically track and coordinate an accident investigation
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure and tough deadlines
