Job description, responsibilities and duties

 Ensure a portfolio of orders for the Department ensuring that profit and sales targets set in the budget are met. Directing the work of the Department to achieve budget objectives.
 Responsibility of Industry department sales results
 Preparing and supervising the implementation of department development strategy.
 Cost control of the department to achieve the best possible financial results.
 Ensure staff with appropriate qualifications, technical conditions, equipment, partners, and subcontractors for the implementation of accepted orders and signed contracts.
 Directing the development of subordinate employees to increase their competencies.
 Ensure proper health and safety conditions, monitoring compliance with health and safety standards, quality, and procedures by applicable laws and Bureau Veritas Slovakia guidelines.
 Represent Bureau Veritas Slovakia in front of customers, subcontractors, and partners; maintain the interest and image of Bureau Veritas Slovakia.
 Maintaining and archiving appropriate reporting and documentation on the functioning of the Department.
 To keep superiors informed of significant events that may affect the general interest of Bureau Veritas Slovakia.
 To be accountable within the scope of authority granted by Bureau Veritas Slovakia.
 Maintain the confidentiality of information relating to the Company, in particular: budgets, turnover and margins, remuneration, financial and commercial procedures, and Company documents.
 To refrain from any action contrary to the best interest of the Company.
 To comply with the Code of Ethics of Bureau Veritas Slovakia.
 Take care of the proper condition of the entrusted property, order, neatness, and aesthetics of the workplace.
 To undergo periodic performance appraisals and obtain positive results.
