Automation Project Manager

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Introduction of Automated equipment within BISK, from identification of viability & payback, selection of appropriate solutions, design, build and test, through to installation & commissioning. Following this to handover to key operational staff within the factory, providing full documentation and training to facilitate self-sufficiency in maintenance and operations.

Reporting to the Factory Director you will be responsible for a small team of technician/engineers and will be required to have a high level of communication with Operational Managers and key staff within the factory, and with key contacts in the UK parent company, as such a high standard of Written and Spoken English is required, as is a willingness to travel and spend extended periods of time in the UK working with their team of Automation Engineers.

Tasks you will be involved with include:
-Design – mechanical/electrical/robotic integration & programming
-3D/2D CAD with Solid edge 3D CAD as the platform
-Use of XYZ Milling machines & Design of 3D printed components
-Oversee the assembly and installation of in-house manufactured automated production lines
