Job description, responsibilities and duties

Súkromná spojená škola British International School in Bratislava is looking for a flexible, motivated and well organized candidate to join our finance team. Successful applicant should be communicative, well organised and have pleasant manners.

Duties include:

• Responsibility for maintaining the purchase ledger, ensuring invoices are recorded correctly and paid in a timely manner whilst optimizing cash flow
• Responsible for processing employee expense claims ensuring supporting documentation is complete and VAT compliant
• Responsibility for daily monitoring of bank inflows and outflows
• Responsible for posting of all petty cash transactions
• Responsibility for day to day journal postings in the accounts
• Responsibility for posting of all sales invoices issued, ensuring income is coded correctly in the accounts
• Responsible for reconciliation of all relevant G/L accounts and A/R and A/P sub-ledgers
