Qualifications/Training:
- Must hold a degree or higher in German language education, along with PGCE/QTS certification.
Experience:
- Minimum of two years' proven teaching experience in German language.
- Familiarity with UK National Curriculum teaching is preferred.
- Experience with IB and IGCSE German teaching is advantageous.
- Strong classroom management skills and ability to connect with students are essential.
- Demonstrated ability to innovate and tailor curriculum for student engagement and success.
- Experience collaborating with parents is crucial.
Skills:
- Proficiency in German language at C2 level, and English at least at B2 level.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to teach diverse age groups and proficiency levels.
- Aptitude for motivating and enabling high performance in students.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development are desirable.
- Interest in global citizenship and understanding of international school environments are preferred.
Other Requirements:
- Competence in integrating technology for enhanced learning.
- Proficiency in using Office 365 for reporting, data analysis, and resource preparation.
