Qualifications/Training:

  • Must hold a degree or higher in German language education, along with PGCE/QTS certification.

Experience:

  • Minimum of two years' proven teaching experience in German language.
  • Familiarity with UK National Curriculum teaching is preferred.
  • Experience with IB and IGCSE German teaching is advantageous.
  • Strong classroom management skills and ability to connect with students are essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to innovate and tailor curriculum for student engagement and success.
  • Experience collaborating with parents is crucial.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in German language at C2 level, and English at least at B2 level.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to teach diverse age groups and proficiency levels.
  • Aptitude for motivating and enabling high performance in students.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development are desirable.
  • Interest in global citizenship and understanding of international school environments are preferred.

  • Competence in integrating technology for enhanced learning.
  • Proficiency in using Office 365 for reporting, data analysis, and resource preparation.
