Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
Brightpick is revolutionizing warehouse automation with cutting-edge robotic solutions and intelligent systems that power some of the world’s most advanced fulfillment centers. As we roll out a groundbreaking new product into our portfolio, we need to bridge the gap between our AMRs and the physical flow of goods.
We are looking for a Conveyor Systems & Product Engineer—a mix of a designer, a problem solver, and a product specialist. You will be our "go-to" person for everything related to conveyor integration, ensuring our robots and our new product line work in perfect harmony with the rest of the warehouse.
In this role, you will own the mechanical design and integration of conveyor systems. You won’t just be picking parts from a catalog; you will be adapting, designing, and implementing the "veins and arteries" of our automation systems. You’ll work closely with the R&D and Project teams to ensure that totes move seamlessly to and from our ASRS environment.

- Vendor Coordination: Work with external suppliers to select the right components and ensure they meet our technical and quality standards.
- Hands-on Prototyping: Collaborate with the workshop team to build and test new conveyor attachments or transfer modules.
- Problem Solving: Act as the technical troubleshooter when conveyor systems meet complex warehouse constraints or unique robotic requirements.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Experience: 2–4 years of experience in mechanical design or project engineering, with exposure to material handling and conveyor systems is a must.
- CAD Skills: Solid proficiency in 3D modeling and creating production-ready 2D drawings (the "CAD Ninja" mindset).
- TechnicalCuriosity: A genuine interest in how things move and a drive to innovate rather than just follow standard procedures.
- Can-do Attitude: You aren’t afraid to get your hands dirty on-site or in the lab to make sure a design works in reality.
- Communication: Good level of English and Slovak for collaborating with our international team and local suppliers.
- Travel: Willingness to visit customer sites occasionally to oversee installations or troubleshoot.
