Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
Brightpick is revolutionizing warehouse automation with cutting-edge robotic solutions and intelligent systems that power some of the world’s most advanced fulfillment centers. We design and deliver technology that helps customers achieve operational excellence with speed, precision, and reliability. We are seeking an experienced Technical Design and Construction Engineer—our "CAD Ninja"—to lead the mechanical design of our industrial automation machinery. This role is pivotal in developing our single-purpose machines, Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), and the essential warehouse infrastructure that supports them.
As the Senior Technical Design & Construction Engineer, you will own the end-to-end mechanical design lifecycle of Brightpick’s automation solutions. From defining initial requirements for custom vehicle add-ons to generating final production drawings for complex assemblies, you will ensure every design is simple, cost-effective, and durable. This role offers the unique advantage of designing the complete warehouse ecosystem—not just the robots, but also the conveyors, custom shelving, and static equipment they interact with. You will work cross-functionally with Mechatronics and Software teams to ensure our mechanical designs integrate seamlessly with the intelligence driving our robots.
