Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

- development and leading of E&D Non-Ultrasonic electrical designers
- assignment of tasks to E&D electrical designers
- investigation / development / providing of new solution based on external/internal customer’s needs
- communication in New Product Development team, presentation of technical solutions, explanation of technical possibilities and limits
- create standards and rules for effective process management of E&D department
- preparation and coordination of product safety in accordance with the requirements of Machinery legislation
- preparation and coordination of safety tests and validation.
- analyze market trends and new technology to integration them in to new products.
- provides electrical consultation to another departments and customers
- participates and supports management on strategic decisions

This position is occupied for Branson Ultrasonics, a.s. (the part of Emerson corporation), which produces ultrasonic and vibration welding equipment for plastics used primarily in the automotive industry, ultrasonic instruments and accessories.

Educational Specialization

university education in electrical design or automatization

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

- working experience as a electrical designer at least 5 years
- knowledge of electrical diagrams, standards and tools - ePLAN is preffered
- knowledge of machinery safety solutions and legislative
- proficient in project management and leading team
- excellent written and spoken skills in English
- experience with Microsoft Office (MS Project Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Access)
