About the role

We are looking for a skilled Junior Legal Counsel based in Slovakia, and excited to delve into extensive legal research projects concerning the multiple territories in which Bots is active, and assist with drafting & revising internal policies, and commercial agreements.

You will safeguard our reputation by guaranteeing that the company strictly follows legal guidelines and assist the Legal team lead with different legal projects touching upon one or more of the following legal fields: commercial law, AML compliance, EU law, corporate law, international law, data privacy, IP law & employment law



On a day to day basis you will:

- Conduct thorough legal research on a variety of topics relating to the regulatory climate in different jurisdictions within and outside of the EU with regards to the crypto & AI investment sphere, and other ad-hoc topics of interest

- Provide accurate and timely analysis of commercial agreements between BOTS and external parties

- Draft and revise agreements, contracts and other legal documents to ensure the company’s full legal rights

- Assist in the preparation & update of internal policy documents on topics such as AML, data privacy, consumer protection, employment law, etc.

- Research and assist with evaluation of different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations

- Deal with complex matters with multiple stakeholders and forces

- Conduct your work with integrity and responsibility

- Maintain current knowledge of alterations in legislation



We are looking for:

- Master degree or Phd in law

- 1-3 years experience as a Legal Counsel or similar role in a business, preferably a fast scaling, environment

- Based in Slovakia

- Strong knowledge of English language: able to research & draft legal documents in English

- Excellent research & drafting skills

- Ability to analyse complex situations and information effectively and accurately

- Experience dealing with multiple legal jurisdictions

- High degree of professional ethics and integrity

- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

- Strong knowledge of German language is a plus
