For one of its main locations situated in Slovakia, the group seeks a highly motivated and sophisticated New Business Manager Green Tech (f/m/d) to further strengthen its position in a growing market and to explore opportunities in adjacent markets to boost the company’s efforts for diversification and implement its growth strategy with a focus on Green Tech.

• Map, analyze, and find innovations/products in any market segment with new customers that enable us to utilize product or process USPs to synergize capacities, capabilities, or competencies.
• Use cooperation and your network to fill the innovation pipeline. Network with VCs/Funds and scavenger projects that they rejected for not having sufficient proof of traction where we see sufficient potential to bring the project to industrialization and commercialization.
• Cooperation with Universities, organize Innovation Challenges, join other Startup Challenges, and find potential projects.
• Network, network, network…..
• Evaluate the potential of such projects, whether it is a product already on the market, a prototype, a mockup, or whatever stage of development, and evaluate it technically, commercially, and sustainably with the whole Innovation Development Center (IDC) team of 10 people which you will lead of designers, construction engineers, quality, purchasing, and people to run the business case and marketing and promotion activities.
• Analyze the markets and opportunities and prepare trends, a strategic business plan, and a roadmap.
• Together with the team you will make professional analyses and presentations and you will be able to see the big picture and not forget important details.
• You will run the IDC like a startup where the whole team works agile together towards bringing the projects to industrialization.
• The teams and their tasks are supported by a full-fledged company and a global structure of factories, customer network, and experts in its field.
• You will fill and analyze a pipeline of projects that fit the Green Tech strategy.
• Technically evaluate the project, evaluate space for improvement, functionality, durability, design, manufacturability, and added value creation (better make than buy) (technical USPs) as well as the commercial aspects (market size/growth, competition, pricing, profitability, etc.,) and also the sustainability of the product, manufacturing process and value chain.
• You and the team build the prototypes and make them better than good.
• You regularly present the status of the project and achieved milestones and evaluation of commercialization options.
