Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
BONARD is a leading international research and advisory company serving the growing real estate sector of alternate asset classes. BONARD’s culture, atmosphere, approach, and values all reflect the care, ambition, drive, and consistency we are looking for in our new Research Project Manager.
Our business is global, our clients are the largest investment and pension funds, asset managers, and individual investors in the world. We provide the hard-to-get data, insights, and analyses that inform and support their major capital investments.
The role:
We are looking for a smart, curious, and dedicated research professional for our Rented Residential Unit. This Unit specializes in Data, Research, and Advisory for Rented Residential Assets. We provide data, develop strategies, and assess opportunities to guide investment professionals with scientific precision.
The candidate will delve into intricate research projects aimed at providing clients with profound insights into destinations and source markets, thereby enhancing their industry and media presence. The role necessitates adept data analysis and interpretation, demanding sharp critical thinking skills to unearth correlations and insights that drive success. Equally vital is the candidate's proficiency in articulating these discoveries into clear, compelling narratives."
The ideal candidate should actively engage in projects, and take responsibility for them from initial sales discussions to presenting results. This role requires careful planning, follow-through to meet deadlines, and coordination of both desktop data collection and on-site teams for primary research. We value a candidate who is open to exploring new approaches, willing to go the extra mile, and is excited about personal growth and skill development.
We are looking for a candidate who is ready to take on the challenge of collaborating with a group of similarly inclined experts on global initiatives with a meaningful impact. They should have a desire for both acknowledgment and influence upon the conclusion of extensive, demanding undertakings, and should also take pleasure in the idea of assuming a visible position when presenting outcomes to the public.
In contrast, our proposition extends beyond the immediate role. We offer a platform for robust professional and personal development, ensuring a lasting partnership. Our package includes enticing benefits, but the real value lies in joining a seasoned, globally diverse team of bright minds willing to go above and beyond to bring value to their clients. Here, support, training, mentorship, and a receptive management team are not just words; they are integral aspects of our culture.
Your responsibilities and tasks will include:
1. Research project planning and management including:
Data collection, analysis, interpretation, and presentation of results in written reports and visual presentations.
Gathering, storing, analyzing, and using market intelligence for the benefit of clients and the company.
Choosing and implementing suitable market research techniques to conduct quantitative and qualitative market research.
Preparing, managing, and monitoring the project budget, and allocating other project resources.
2. Public facing with clients including
Presentations at conferences, meetings, webinars, and seminars.
Attending industry events and representing the company to clients and customers.
3. Team coordination with part-time staff and external suppliers
Recruiting, training, and supervision of support company personnel (data collectors, assistants, graphic designers, copywriters, etc.).
Participating and contributing to team meetings and development.
Providing intra-departmental support and advice and being a conduit for intradepartmental information sharing.
