Packaging engineer

Position Summary

The role will have responsibility for defining of packaging standards for purchased components and for an internal packaging.

Main Responsibility

• Oversee and manage complete packaging development process, including the creation of packaging designs, prototype development, and performance testing.
• Participate in NPD activities, to deliver new products to market.
• Identify and implement cost saving initiatives related to packaging materials, labor, efficiency, transportation, and storage.

Education & Qualification

• Bachelors Degree prefered

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a similar position or in a leading position in a warehouse operation in production environment

Knowledge & Skill

• Fluent English, basic Czech
• Good communication skills, orally and in writing
• Proactive and result orientation
• Problem solving and decision-making skills
• Analytical and data management skills
• Project management experience
• IT literate, hands on experience in Excel
