Job description, responsibilities and duties

Deputy Director of the Compliance provides a reasonable assurance, through opinions, supervision and level 2 independent Controls, of the efficiency and consistency of the Compliance Dpt. and of the Compliance permanent control set-up.

The main responsibilities :
- Ensures consistent deployment of Group Compliance plicies and methodologies as well as PF and BNPP PF specific ones
- Provides support and guidance to the Business teams
- Makes Compliance decisions and/or delivers advice on the issues reported by local and central team, in scope of responsibilities, according to the Group decision and escalation processes
- Ensures the performance of Compliance permanent control and follows up the concrete action plans
- Represents the Compliance Function in front of regulatory bodies and ensures regulatory watch on perimeter
- Identifies required evolution of organization, tools and processes
- Drives the change required within the Compliance Function, in interaction with the Business

Professional knowledge and requirements :
• Completed university education, at least four years of experience in banking or finance field
• General knowledge of applicable regulatory framework and its evolutions
• Knowledge of Compliance issues and specific challenges
• Good understanding of the Bank´s business model and operations
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and consult at all levels
• Active knowledge of English (written/spoken)
