Job description, responsibilities and duties

The IT Business Analyst will be in charge of translating business requirements into specifications understandable by IT architects, technical teams and developers.
This role also includes the validation of technical specifications, discussing with development teams, and follow-up of deliverables. Besides, the role includes the definition, supervision of test execution before handing deliverables over to the business colleagues.
Main responsibilities:
1. Analysing business requirements, business functions and IT business system functionalities
2. Creating/validating analytical and test documents (business requirements analyses, technical analyses, functional specifications, solution and technical designs, technical specifications, test documentation)
3. Regular communication with business representatives (meetings, workshops, presentations…)
4. Applying best analytical techniques
5. Recognising business issues and growth opportunities
6. Active cooperation with IT and business teams

Personality requirements and skills

• Degree level education from an accredited institution in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, Science, Engineering, Analytical subject or equivalent commercial experience
• Outstanding knowledge of banking business domains and processes
• Understanding business processes
• Experienced in modeling techniques and methods inclusive working with UML tools
• Experience aligning different business units in order to specify the solution
• Having strong strong computing skills and experience along with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong digital mind set
• Customer-oriented, pro-active and driven, flexible and accepts evolution, modification
• Ability to manage workload in a multitasking environment, prioritise work and work under pressure while maintaining positive interactions within the team and business
• The ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English.
