Operational risk & Control unit provides a reasonable assurance of the efficiency and consistency of the risk analysis and permanent controls set up. ORC unit is a part of Risk Division which is an independent function of the bank.
ORC assures management of Operational risk within 3 lines of defence model.
ORC´s has in its scope mainly:
- Risk Cartography
- Permanent control system
- Action Plan follow up
- Essential Service Suppliers
- Incidents of Operational Risk
- Internal procedures management
Your main responsibility on this position would be:
• To establish Operational Risk & Control governance
• To communicate with and to support other departments in subjects related to Operational Risk & Control topics
• To report on Operational Risks to the bank´s management
• To manage and challenge regular risk mapping update
• To follow up control plans
• To perform control testing
• To follow up operational risk incidents
• To maintain internal procedures database
• To follow-up action plans coming from permanent control activity
