Job description, responsibilities and duties

About your team:
You will join the newly created Project Management Office and you’ll have the unique chance to be a part of a team that will change the way new features are being developed and delivered to our customers.

The role of the PMO Team is to drive the execution of the projects and connect the vision that the Product team has with the engineering skills of our broad engineering team. All of that through project leadership and building strong processes that help others rather than just make more work for everyone involved. An important role of the team is also providing support, visibility and transparency for the entire company regarding the progress made on the projects as well as communicating a trustworthy timeline and scope summaries.

Tasks and responsibilities:
- Work with the Product manager during the solutioning phase to learn about the feature to be developed so you can become the person to go to in the future
- Asist the Engineering teams while the feature breakdown is being made to achieve clear idea of project timeline and oversee that technical breakdown follows all recommended guidelines
- Ensure the communication flow between all the relevant parties during Prioritization so we can prioritize the right amount of projects for each cycle (sprint)
- While the project is in progress, be helpful to the project team and work on unblocking all the problems which can occur on a daily basis and can include communication with other engineering/project teams and shuffling capacity, communication with other departments within the company or with the clients.
- Keep the team in sync and challenge its progress against the planned timeline. Communicate the possible obstacles or scope changes to relevant people and provide the basic transparency for the entire company.
- Own the project closing towards successful project acceptance - the milestone in which the entire project team and project sponsor review and accept the delivered work and ensure all requirements are met for a release-ready state of the feature.

What you might like about this role:
Current projects and challenges:
- Building a PMO in fast growing engineering team
- Adjusting processes to function in a company consisting of multiple product pillars and working throughout multiple time zones
- Working on interesting features in top-tier CDP SaaS: our crown jewel – in-house in-memory database, features for US market expansion, integrations with other Bloomreach products.
