We are a leading manufacturer of cable harnesses for medical, automation, and data technology. We are looking for a unique professional who can bridge the gap between business development and technical cost engineering. You will be responsible for expanding our market presence while ensuring that every proposal is technically sound and financially optimized.
Job Description & Responsibilities
Business Development: Actively identify and approach new B2B customers in Slovakia and neighboring countries to build a robust portfolio. As well in DACH Region (Germany/Austria/Schwitzerland)
Technical Costing: Perform complex cost calculations. You will evaluate materials, manufacturing times, and processes to translate technical needs into accurate financial models.
Solution Engineering: Work closely with the technical team to design tailor-made solutions (Build-to-Print/CMS) for diverse markets like Medical, Automation, Railway Sector and Power/Data Technology
Process Optimization: Implement advanced cost estimation tools (RPA/AI) and support the internal team in building a robust Supply Chain Management system.
Negotiation & Representation: Lead commercial negotiations, manage supplier relationships, and represent the company at international trade fairs and conferences.
Strategic Reporting: Monitor market trends, analyze competitors, and report directly to management on sales growth and costing efficiency.

Personality requirements and skills
- Technical Foundation: University or Secondary degree in Engineering or Manufacturing Technology.
- Proven Track Record: At least 5 years of experience in B2B sales or technical costing, ideally within the cable harness or contract manufacturing (CMS) industry.
- English: Fluent/Negotiation level (B2/C1) is mandatory.
- German: Highly welcome (advantage).
- Software: Advanced MS Office (Excel is a must); experience with RPA or automated costing tools is a plus.
- Driving License: Category B (willingness to travel to customers and suppliers)
- The "Technician at Heart": You must understand how products are made to accurately sell and price them.
- Analytical Hunter: You possess the grit to find new business and the analytical precision to ensure it is profitable.Ability to discuss technical details with engineers and financial terms with procurement directors.
