Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for a skilled Product Marketing Manager to drive our go-to-market strategies, develop compelling marketing content, and support product launches in the factory automation and manufacturing sectors. This role will collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales to ensure cohesive and impactful product positioning that resonates with our target customers.

Key Objectives:

  • Develop and execute structured go-to-market strategies for successful product launches in the factory automation market.
  • Create high-impact product marketing content that effectively communicates value propositions and differentiates our solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on product messaging, positioning, and customer needs.
  • Support sales enablement through training, content creation, and strategic lead generation activities.
  • Shape and execute marketing campaigns to drive demand and increase market awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Support the development and execution of comprehensive go-to-market plans, including market research, competitor analysis, target audience identification, messaging, and positioning tailored for the manufacturing industry.
  • Content Development: Create and manage product marketing content, including sales presentations, brochures, case studies, website content, videos, and digital assets to support product visibility.
  • Product Launch Coordination: Support the planning and execution product launches, working closely with Product Management, Sales, Marketing, and Engineering to ensure seamless execution.
  • Sales Training & Enablement: Collaborate with Product Management to develop training materials and conduct sales enablement sessions to equip the sales team with the knowledge and tools needed to effectively sell the products.
  • Customer Insight & Feedback: Gather customer insights and feedback, conduct market analysis, and collaborate with Product Management to influence product roadmaps and development priorities.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of go-to-market strategies and marketing campaigns, providing actionable insights and reports to stakeholders.

  • Experience: Proven experience in product marketing with a focus on go-to-market strategy, product launches, and sales enablement, preferably in the factory automation or manufacturing sector.
  • Product Marketing Expertise: Strong understanding of product marketing principles, including market segmentation, positioning, and competitive analysis within industrial automation.
  • Content Creation: Expertise in developing engaging marketing content across various formats and channels, tailored to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English (mandatory)
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong intercultural competence and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively in a global environment.
  • Travel: 10-15% depending on teamwork activity in Hannover, Germany and certain product launches.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: University degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Product Management, or a related field.
  • Technical Acumen: Familiarity with automation technologies, robotics, or industrial software solutions.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong data-driven approach with experience in using analytics to inform marketing strategies and measure campaign success.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and quickly adapt to changing market conditions and business needs.
