Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
We are expanding our Financial Team. We are seeking an experienced financial accountant who will review and implement uniformed accounting processes, controls, and month end templates across four reporting sites (8 subsidiary companies). This will include harmonised reports from our ERP system.
Key responsibilities:
- Take over the Order to Cash review that has been completed for one sample site
- Identify and prioritise key accounting processes for improvement and alignment across sites to improve month end close accuracy and timelines
- Work with our ERP team to unify and improve reporting needs of the local finance teams to enable the above point
- Lead in the development and implementation of initiatives to improve transactional and financial operational performance
- Ensure accurate/appropriate mapping of all local accounts in the company’s consolidation software
- Review business unit allocation of costs within the division to ensure accurate consolidation eliminations and business unit reporting
- Assist in the ongoing reviews of balance sheet reconciliations/support across the different sites
- Train and develop the sites teams on our group reporting and harmonised closed processes.
