Job description, responsibilities and duties
This role provides the Lenovo Sales Team with support for sales and training activities aligned with Intel’s business. The successful candidate will be the Intel brand representative on site helping to shape implementation of growth strategies. As well as having a close relationship with the Lenovo team, this role will interface directly with the wider Intel organisation.
• Support Lenovo Sales and Technical Staff in the EMEA markets and headquarters by developing the knowledge level of products and technologies to drive sell through and to increase Market Segment Share and performance mix of Lenovo Data Centre business.
• Increase the Lenovo Sales teams’ knowledge of Intel technologies through a programme of product and sales training events. These could be classroom, group or 1 to 1.
• Support new Intel product launches by providing Classroom training to sales support staff, arranging specialist training when required. Assist Lenovo sales staff in introducing new Intel products and technologies to their customer base.
• Relevant and immediate response to sales support staff on Intel Technology queries.
• Technical validation and support for Intel Special Bids to ensure all required criteria are met.
• Maintain the technical requirements for the Intel Seed Unit Programme and Proof of Concept projects.
• Sales support for any Lenovo channel or customers queries and present roadmap on new technologies. This could include customer or channel partner meetings, customer calls, email support and web conferencing.
• Attend training and conference events delivering required content, including booth support and keynote presentations. Support training events for customers and Channel Partners, this could involve travel across Europe.
