Job description, responsibilities and duties
BIC has in Slovakia (Sered) European Packaging Centre and Central-Eastern Europe Distribution Centre, packing significant part of BIC EU sales and distributing up to 40 countries. We are looking for Logistic Operations Coordinator to join local Logistic Operations team in Sered to help us with the coordination of transportation within BIC’s factories & distributions warehouses.
Responsibilities/tasks:
• Transport management - trucks ordering based on volume from BIC‘s factories to BIC’s distribution warehouses
• Focus on truck utilization optimization
• Communication with Factories, Supply Planners, Warehouses and Carriers
• Shipment Follow Up – tracking + costs + lead time + claim management
• Dashboard Data Capture regarding Cost and Service Monitoring
• Follow monthly carrier's KPI's
• Control transport invoices and follow cost evolution vs. budget
• Support purchasing team and brief definition for transport tenders
• participation in projects linked to activity optimization with focus to keep service level and cost under control
