Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti
Supervise and support welding and fabrication activities on the shop floor.
Monitor welding operations and ensure compliance with welding procedures, quality requirements, and applicable standards.
Conduct inspections and resolve production-related quality issues.
Prepare, review, and maintain welding and quality documentation, including:
Inspection and Test Plans (QCP)
Welding documentation
Quality protocols and inspection records
Non-conformity and complaint reports
Customer and internal quality reports
Coordinate customer inspections, audits, and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
Support continuous improvement of welding processes and product quality.
Collaborate closely with production teams, quality personnel, management, customers, and external inspectors.
Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations, including EN ISO 3834, AD2000, Directive 2014/68/EU, and EN 1090.

Osobnostné predpoklady a zručnosti
Technical education in Mechanical Engineering, Welding Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of experience in welding supervision, fabrication, and/or quality control.
Valid Welding Technician qualification (IWT – International Welding Technologist, IWS – International Welding Specialist, EWT, or equivalent certification).
Strong practical knowledge of welding processes, fabrication techniques, and quality requirements.
Hands-on approach with the ability to spend the majority of working time on the shop floor supporting production activities.
Strong knowledge of welding standards and quality systems (EN ISO 3834, AD2000, Directive 2014/68/EU, EN 1090; ISO 9001 is an advantage).
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, welding symbols, manufacturing documentation, WPS, and WPQR.
Knowledge of NDT methods (VT required; PT, MT, and UT are an advantage).
Good reporting, communication, and organizational skills.
English or German language proficiency is required.
High level of responsibility, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
