Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
- Design and optimize product quality and composition parameters
- Work on optimizing technological design and production concepts
- Optimize the production process and determine production performance parameters
- Integrate new materials into food recipes through lab application trials and analyze their performance
- Collect and analyze data for IP protection and for PCF and LCA (life cycle assessment)
- Validate clinical presumptions through pre-clinical trials with third party research organisations for selected products
- Continuously research and stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in the food industry and ingredients to propose innovative ideas for new products and processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and production, to ensure successful product launches
- Conduct experiments in the lab to test new materials and recipe formulations
- Attend meetings with cross-functional teams to discuss product development strategies and progress
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (adjustments possible)
- Overtime may be required for cases of projects deadlines

The personal interview is projected in two phases. Only the selected applicants will be invited to personal interview, based on CV and written Motivation letter in English. The language of interview will be English, optionally Slovak (only for justified reasons).

BFT developed a new method for alternative sweeteners and food ingredients production for sugar reduction in food, with health benefits for consumers, lowering the carbon footprint and providing the processing advantage for food processors. The BFT collaborate with leading food companies in Europa, focusing onto implementation of novel ingredients to food applications. The company is SPV and startup company as a part of group. Current development stage enter to optimisation phase in R&D and preparing the pilot phase for production of food ingredient prototypes. The applied scale up is planned with start in year 2026.
