Job description, responsibilities and duties
We are looking for a full-time IT Help Desk & Security Specialist to join our Slovakia team!
Who you are:
• 2+ years relevant experience, desired
• Have a strong work ethic and positive working attitude
• Experience supporting MS Office365 and Windows 8.1, 10 – assisting with user support, managing profiles, shared resources, mapped drives, printers, etc.
• Experience supporting MacOS, highly desired
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with computer networking, TCP/IP fundamentals and basic network troubleshooting
• Experience managing application consoles and monitoring security and network status/threats
• Exceptional understanding of new technologies and trends in the industry
What you´ll do:
• Responsible for creating Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) content to monitor security events and detect potential security incidents across the enterprise
• Involved in a wide range of security issues including architectures, firewalls, electronic data traffic and network access
• Research and identify new technologies to aid in improving security and protection
• Provide security support to ensure the protection of Benchmark and customer data
• Research and identify new technologies to aid in improving security and protection
• Perform audit reviews, assist with system accountability, and provide information security advice
• Provide day-to-day support for our European users while managing and maintaining IT assets
• Act as primary escalation resource for IT trouble tickets for 30+ European users
• Research and identify new technologies to aid in improving service delivery and/or reducing costs
• Manage telephone systems and printers
Who you are:
