Job description, responsibilities and duties

As Global Safety Program Leader centrally develop and maintain key Safety systems, standards and processes needed to support our journey to Safety excellence, and to help with the implementation and roll-out where needed.
• You are a part of the global expertise team – focusing on general SHE (not specific expertise on separate domain Environment, or occupational health or Ergonomics or fire protection…)
• Focusing on Safety in SHE, including behavioral Safety
• Developing global standards: Create and assist in implementation of Safety standards, procedures to drive and support SHE excellence
• Supporting in implementing these standards into the sites
• Align on local legislation requirements, Create audit systems to Ensure compliance with all applicable international/local/legal/Bekaert norms
• Identify, manage and mitigate SHE related risk both internal and external
• Drive continuous improvement through audit/assessment
• Supports accurate, comprehensive and timely, reporting of incidents, actions and follow up including trend analysis, root cause determination
• Manages/builds systems to share SHE Best Practice

Personality requirements and skills

You are a shopfloor oriented Safety Program Leader with a passion to spread our desired culture in all parts of the organization
• You have around 3-5 years of experience in the SH&E domain within a multinational manufacturing environment
• You have successfully led transformation programs within the safety area with the aim to change behavior and culture
• You have sound technical skills (engineering/chemistry)
• You have industrial/manufacturing backround
• You are an excellent communicator and have great leadership and management skills
• You are based in Slovakia (Hlohovec region)
• You are fluent in English and willing to travel around 20 to 25 % of your working time
