Job description, responsibilities and duties

Your role:

 

  • You will be mainly responsible for analysing historical and future business requirements within the region for the purchasing category in terms of quantity and quality, analysing the supplier market within this category and region and identify multi-plant, regional and global opportunities for leveraging purchasing
  • Your responsibility will be developing and maintaining  the category spend analysis, savings reporting and supplier passports (if applicable)
  • You will implement the regional sourcing KPI’s by leading or delegating the tendering and negotiation process for critical products or services and by following up the implementation of the contracts towards key internal customers and the suppliers (complaint handling, day to day business with suppliers,…)
  • You will start up, manage and implement TCO projects in order to come to an optimal balance between the cost and the added value for our company in close cooperation with all internal customers and stakeholders
  • You will be responsible for administration of contracts and organizing for these contracts the interfacing  with internal applicants,  tactical buyers, category managers, ...;
  • You will be responsible for administration of the purchase to pay process: transformation of purchase requisitions to purchase orders, complaint & claims handling, order confirmations, on time delivery, blocking lists, exception lists, savings reports,  …

  • You have University education
  • You are min. 2 years experienced in Purchasing of CAPEX /Facility management
  • You are a good team-player
  • You speak fluent English language 
  • You have good organizational, communication and presentation skills
  • You have driving license “B”
  • You are willing to travel (20 % of time max)
  • You are customer oriented
  • Your SAP system knowledge is an advantage
