Job description, responsibilities and duties
• Prepares financial analyses, reports, and budget forecasts, and continuously improves core controlling activities.
• Supports monthly and annual closing processes.
• Develops finance analytics capabilities, methods, and best practices across the organization.
• Ensures accuracy of financial statements through internal controls and compliance with controlling standards.
• Reviews financial data for completeness and proposes corrective actions when needed.
• Drives automation, optimization, and harmonization of controlling-related IT systems and reporting tools.
• Provides support for ad-hoc analyses, deviation reviews, and special controlling projects.
• Acts as key user for finance systems in daily operations and system enhancements.
• Serves as subject-matter expert for BI reporting, advanced analytics, and data-driven modeling.
• Performs additional tasks supporting departmental goals, including reporting, data analysis, and project participation.

Requirements for the employee
Minimum education required
University education (Bachelor's degree)
Language skills
English - Advanced (C1) and Slovak - Proficiency (C2)
Personality requirements and skills
• University degree (MA) in economics, finance, business administration.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong understanding of financial analysis and reporting; business knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with a structured working style.
• High accuracy and responsibility when generating, validating, and visualizing financial data.
• Able to manage cross-functional interfaces and understand process interdependencies
• Excellent MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Power BI); advantage if familiar with analytics
tools (Python/R, SQL, SAP BW/HANA, Onestream, cloud platforms).
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant professional experience.
