Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

• Development and implementation of effective sourcing strategies for assigned categories.
• Ensure all assigned sourcing activities are fulfilled within the required time, at the required quality and other required specifications and conditions, with the minimum Total Cost Ownership (TCO) while respecting the specific procurement procedures.
• Analyze, understand and define opportunities in order to continuously pool, optimize and improve
assigned categories in order to maximize the savings.
• Actively drive the development and implementation of sourcing strategies within assigned
responsibility and comply with the defined sourcing strategies and contracts.
• Coordinating the supply chain of direct / indirect materials and tendering (medium to long term) in order to achieve the lowest TCO.
• Continuously improve procurement services rendered to internal customers.
• Manage the supplier performance and relationships with the strategic/critical suppliers within the assigned categories

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1)

Personality requirements and skills

• University degree – preferably in technical science
• Fluent English – writing / speaking,
• Hungarian is an advantage
• Minimum 5 years in procurement
• High level negotiation and analytical skills
• Technical understanding of assigned categories
• Strategic sourcing experience
• High level orientation on internal clients
• Deep understanding of Procure to pay process
• MS Office - user
• SAP, SRM, ARIBA, Power BI – advantage,
• e-Sourcing
