Job description, responsibilities and duties

The main responsibility of the Site Project Manager is to support, manage, and coordinate internal and sub-contractors’ installation field teams. The role includes following activities and duties:
  • Manages initiation, planning, execution, control, and completion, including coordination and communication with decision makers for allocated sites
  • Follows and monitors progress, execution, and results for allocated sites
  • Communicates with employees on the project to identify problems and their solutions
  • Management of internal and sub-contractor field teams according to the rollout plan and customers’ standards
  • Makes sure all field teams understand scope as defined in Site Report / TSSR and ensures compliance with quality and safety standards
  • Monitor field teams’ work and follow up daily progress on installation of mobile base stations, making sure execution is according to scope, budget and schedule
  • Support for field teams on technical solutions ie. mobile equipment and antenna installation, cabling connections, cabinet installation etc.
  • Support and coordination of field teams with logistics
  • Finds ways to prevent problems and to solve any that crop up
  • Maintains contact with Project Manager to obtain necessary information and priorities
  • Communication with other departments in the planning process
  • Build and maintain long term relationships between the field teams and the company in order to achieve optimal results
  • Evaluate and provide feedback to field-team on their performance
  • Daily reporting in company workflow support system
  • Prepares a report on the status of the project by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends if needed

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1)

Personality requirements and skills

  • Hands on experience in mobile telecom rollout projects (building new network, network upgrades or swaps)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize and work in a project team environment
  • Field team management skills
  • Negotiation skills
  • Risk management skills
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written is a must
  • IT-tools: Ms Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Teams
