Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

  • To develop, agree and implement a commercial strategy to target the top 20, but not limited to, major OEM businesses in Europe.
  • Work with External / Internal Sales across Europe, to develop the strategy and support in driving sales
  • Drive chain into the OEM applications, to help build MRO business for the future
  • Develop account development programs with each OEM, working in conjunction with the Country Managers and Regional Reps to implement.  The key driver is to deal directly in the first instance.
  • Expected to take the lead and drive all projects and activities, co-ordinate with the relevant other functions within the business. On more critical matters, agree and implement a course of action with the Commercial Director.
  • Expected to ensure that activity within area of responsibility is aligned with strategic direction and that it complies with company policies and procedures.
  • Identify issues and opportunities before others and use robust analytical rigor to frame situations and incorporate new perspective and ideas.
  • To report on a monthly basis on sales, margins and performance KPI’s

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2) and German - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

  • Min. secondary education with school-leaving examination – technical background
  • Relevant experience in technical sales,
  • Highly motivated and able to work in a fast-past environment.
  • Negotiation skills
  • Able to operate independently without frequent day to day direction.
  • Candidates should be PC literate
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • To ideally be able to speak, English, German and French, although the first 2 are the most important.
  • Willing to travel throughout Europe.
