Job description, responsibilities and duties


  • Perform in accordance with departmental procedures and standards
  • Meet or exceed assigned objectives and KPI’s
  • Responsible for item sourcing, item content and item maintenance activities through the creation and maintenance of item master records
  • Responsible for supplier selection and management based on customer specific or multicustomer
  • Commodity strategy; establishment of beneficial supplier relationships and managing
  • Supplier performance
  • Responsible for processing and management of purchase orders to the supply base; resolving
  • Support efforts to improve process efficiencies
  • Provide customer requisitioner support as needed including initiating approved customer requisitions
  • Mentor, train and support other team members as needed

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2) and Romanian - Upper intermediate (B2) and Slovak - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong understanding of purchasing practices and standard purchasing systems
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, with strong skill set using Excel
  • Demonstrate strong skills in verbal and written communications - English (B2), Romanian (B2) and Slovak (B2)
  • Willing and able to work as part of a team
