Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties


  • Creating of the production staff (maintainance- team; shift- leaders; operation staffing)
  • Leading the production staff
  • Development and improvement of the production process including the determination and estimation of costs with regard to production equipment
  • Developing robust production processes within the framework of budget targets with regard to performance, costs and timeline
  • Developing and if necessary construction of fixtures, gauges, test-equipment, measurement equipment as well as coordinating the manufacture, ordering, dispatching and pre-acceptance thereof.
  • Technical coordination between the project team, headquarter (global TE Team) and the plant team in Slovakia
  • Pre-selection of suitable production equipment suppliers
  • Optimization of production processes (continuous improvement process)
  • Preventive maintenance, servicing and repair works of the production equipment

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2) or German - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills


  • Completed technical college (mechanical/electrical engeneering) or comparable education
  • Work experience in the automotive sector (min. 3 years) from similar position
  • Experience with automation production lines
  • Knowledge of the automotive QM standards / Customer Requirements / VDA Standards
  • Good command of English or German language (B2) 
  • Be "hungry" to learn new technology in High Voltage Power distribution systems
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to work in a team and by yourself, high workload capacity as well as careful and structured working methods
  • Capable to build up its own department while working within a start-up environment
