Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

  • Finding, analysing and leveraging market opportunities in Slovakia and/or Czech Republic
  • Managing distribution channels at national level: wholesalers and key pharmacy networks
  • Launching of pharmaceutical (dermatological) products to larger pharmacy chains, wholesalers and occasionally doctors as: dermatologists, paediatricians and allergologists
  • Responsibility for set sales goals and establishing business plan
  • Maintaining and developing cooperation with acquired clients
  • Monitoring of market and competition activities
  • Recruiting and leading team of Sales Representatives (3 to 5 people in the first year)
  • Responsibility for the motivation, commitment and development of subordinate employees
  • Conducting product training for the sales team and clients of the company (pharmacies)

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Driving licence


Personality requirements and skills

  • Higher/University education
  • Min. 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical business (field of dermatological products and dietary supplements is an advantage)
  • Knowledge of local and national wholesalers, chains of pharmacy stores
  • Experience in managing a sales team is an advantage
  • Advanced knowledge of English language
  • MS Office user
  • Pro-active approach
  • Good time management, ability to set priorities
  • Flexibility, willingness to travel
  • Strong interpersonal and motivation skills
