Waygate Technologies is a part of the Industrial & Energy Technology (IET) segment of Baker Hughes, an industry leader in non-destructive testing (NDT) for industrial inspection.

Site Quality Leader role is based at our Nové Mesto nad Váhom site, which is where it all happens - we manufacture ultrasonic probes used in non-destructive defectoscopy.
In this exciting and challenging role you will have the opportunity to grow personally and professionally. You will report directly to the Global Quality Director for Inspection based in the UK and will be responsible for implementing site quality programs, improving its processes and operating performance.
Some of your duties are listed below, your day to day tasks will be discussed at personal interview:
- Owning, managing, and monitoring quality related programs and activities as required, covering all processes within the Nove Mesto nad Vahom site
- Handling non-conformities and ensuring corrective and preventive actions are implemented, verified and validated
- Conducting internal audits at other Baker Hughes sites according to audit plan
- Leading process improvement and Lean project initiatives internally as required, work with external vendors on process improvement initiatives
- Owning the site Quality Management System (QMS) and documentation, including policies, procedures, and work instructions covering all processes whilst looking to simplify the way we work and increase collaboration
- Focusing and driving projects to reduce Cost of Quality (CoQ)
- Effectively communicating with customers, on-site colleagues and various Baker Hughes sites
- Ensuring operational quality QA/QC is upheld & drive zero defect culture

To be successful to become Site Quality Leader with us, will need to meet the following criteria:
- some experience in quality inspection, management or similar
- root cause analysis, investigation or problem solving skills
- excellent communication/networking skills
- understanding of ISO 9001
- internal auditing experience or exposure
- good command of English
- eye for detail and ability to identify non-conformance
- impartial attitude
- some level of German language is added advantage
- university degree with technical orientation
