Job description, responsibilities and duties

Reporting to the Managing Director in France, you oversee the good functioning of the production site and oversee the economic and industrial performance.

You are the motor that drives and motivates your team to face permanent challenges of the continuous improvement, stay productive and guarantee client satisfaction.

Your main responsibility consists of ensuring the good functioning of the production site and meet the objectives set by the Direction. By ensuring the supervision of the different services, you coordinate the activity of the production and animate the team, accompany the team, set their objectives and evaluate their results. You become the support system for your team and pilote the activity of the providers.

You are responsible for the performance objectives of the site and its control (productivity, cost, delay and indicators….). Also, you are responsible for monitoring the respect of hygiene, security and environment regulations.

More precisely, you are responsible for the performance of the production site and the respect of the KPIs. You participate in audit quality, communication with the management team in France and service managers, coordinate the relationship with the local administrations, deal with personnel administration and local human resources (management of part-time employees, recruitment, payroll and paid vacation).

You are responsible for playing the intermediary between your clients and the actors of the logistic chain, validate and register new orders all the while keeping an eye out on the availability of the products and its delivery. You are also in charge of treating and resolving litigations.

Graduated with a master’s degree, you hold more than 10 years’ experience in the industrial environment as Site Manager. You are recognized for your strong managerial skills, your pragmatism and hands-on attitude. This job requires a strong English and French level.
