Head of Electrical Design Department

For our client, we are looking for an experienced Head of the Electrical Design department to lead the team of senior designers and take an active part in designing solutions for their biggest customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Functional and disciplinary management of a team of electrical designers
• Planning capacities and workload of the team
• Participate in the creation and assignment of work packages (tasks) for the team and their monitoring
• Supervision and coordination of a team of internal and, if necessary, external electrical designers
• Active support in the creation of electrical projection concepts according to customer requirements
• Close cooperation and coordination with the technical project manager as well as the mechanical design, software, process development, and production departments
• Support in the creation of electrical and pneumatic plans in ECAD ePlan P8, including the creation of production documents, bill of materials, and accompanying necessary customer documentation
• Active participation in intercompany standardization and optimization of processes in the field of electrical design
