YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Technical management of projects in passenger car development
• Responsible for reaching technical project objectives under the given economic framework
• Making (risky) decisions, solving technical conflicts of interest within the project, autonomously prioritizing tasks
• Definition and optimization of development strategies, inspection plans or hedging plans
• Communicating and representing AVL's technical expertise
• Ensuring technical integration and networking with the customer's/supplier’s organization
• Technical management of the bidding phase and ensurance of consistency of the individual trades
• Advancement of technologies and supporting the development of method

YOUR PROFILE

• At least 5 years of experience in an executive function in overall vehicle development (project and/or line)
• At least 10 years of experience in serial production
• Enthusiasm for automotive development and technical innovation
• Knowledge in the field of automotive technology an advantage
• Experience in personnel and team management
• Meticulous work ethic and self-initiative
• Very good command of English and German
