Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
Avitech develops and maintains a software product, which is used by many air navigation service providers all around the globe. Our product is compliant to a set of regulations from European and world-wide aviation organizations (Eurocontrol and ICAO). By applying our software quality assurance procedures we make sure that our product is free of non-conformities- which could be inserted in any phase of the software development lifecycle - and conforms to all requirements. In your job role as Software Quality Assurance Engineer you will have ultimate responsibility and competencies to make sure that all enginnering processes are properly performed in order to deliver software product conformant to the system, software and regulatory requirements.
The Avitech Software Quality Assurance Engineer:
• The Avitech Software Quality Assurance Engineer is reponsible for product quality along the whole software development life-cycle (planning, requirements, design, implementation, verification and validation).
• Follow the applicable set of regulations,standards, guidelines and makes sure that products and procedures are adapted with the goals of continuous compliance with the regulationary framework.
• Own the procedures and processes, which are directly related to Software Quality Assurance (Validation, Verification and Auditing).
• The Software Assurance Engineer continuously and intensively works together with the Avitech Group Leaders from the disciplines related to the software development lifecycle.
• Conducts internal audits and reviews to make sure that the whole software engineering lifecycle conforms with the respective procedures and ultimately results in desired software quality.
• Follows-up on corrective actions identified as results of the audits of the software engineering life-cycle.

• Must have a good working knowledge of window based computer programs such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Advanced English language skills (C1).
• Must demonstrate flexibility on the job, self-motivation and attention to detail.
