Job description, responsibilities and duties
Avitech is one of the leading providers of Aeronautical Information Systems (AIM). For one prestigious European Air Navigation Service Provider we will operate an AIM services system. You would join our small IT team and be responsible for day-today operations to keep the system running.
We will have one Senior Service Agent who will provide services to our customer during our normal business hours (till about 15:00).
Now we are looking for students, who will cover the service window from 15:00-18:00.
What are your responsibilities?
* Monitor incoming Incidents and Service Requests from the customer and react to them according to our IT Service Management procedures
* Monitor the automatically generated system Events to avoid system Incidents
* Download and analyze system log files
* Working with IT and Dev teams to fix incidents
* Installation of patches
* Shutdown and restart the system
* User and role management of the AIM system
* Configuration of the AIM system
* Creating internal service desk documentation/knowledge base to improve your daily work
* Flexible working hours (but every second week you need to be available till 19:00 to cover our service hours)
