System Analyst/Aviation

OUR MISSION
The ever increasing number of flying passengers and aircraft in already crowded air spaces is forcing the air traffic industry to constantly increase capacity. However, high safety standards have to be maintained at all times. This task requires the implementation of reliable information and data management systems, together with trusted products and processes. Air passengers are not only interested in the comfortable transportation from A to B, but also wish to have the assurance of being able to take off, fly and land safely and on time.

Furthermore, shorter flight times and reduced holding patterns are not only more comfortable for the passengers on board, but also lead to reduced fuel consumption and thus to less air pollution.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
You will contribute on this mission by designing solutions that contribute to the safety and effectiveness of the world of aviation. You will be responsible for the following areas:

• proposal of solutions and establishment of agreement with our customers and other stakeholders on what the system should do
• cooperation with managers and end-users on system requirements and business goals definition
• preparation of a business requirements specification, which describes the business needs for a system in a language and format understandable to the system users
• preparation of functional requirements specification which breaks down each business requirement into logical components that might be more easily translated into a computer program
• providing system developers with a better understanding of the system requirements
• providing a basis for planning the technical contents of iterations
• providing a basis for estimating cost and time to develop the system
• serving as liaison between our development teams and customers (maintenance of relationships within organization and with external partners)
