Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are seeking a high potential person with product marketing or technical experiences to be part of the Product Marketing Team in Eastern Europe. As a Product Manager, you will be key person in developing marketing strategies and executing marketing plans for Atlas Copco Premium Innovative Products (solutions and systems for production of cars, planes, electronic equipment, etc.). Understanding product values, functions and customer applications are key points to be successful.

Candidate should enjoy technologies, have a business/entrepreneurial spirit and passion for excellence.

MISSION:
Product Manager develops marketing strategies and executes planned marketing activities for Atlas Copco electric tools, platform PF6000 and related tools in region of Eastern Europe. Understanding product values, functions and customer applications are key points to be successful.
Motivations are market growth, market share growth and customer satisfaction. It is important to evaluate market situation and adapt Atlas Copco solutions to customer needs in direct customer interaction. By interaction with all parts of the organization and customers Product Manager keeps up to date with new product releases and focus on customer value. You will become local Product champion.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Plans and execute marketing strategies
• Launches Go-To-Market strategy through sales channels (75% direct sales, 25% distribution)
• Encourages sales with technical, presentation and marketing support
• Cooperates on new solutions for key customers
• Supports R&D and Global Marketing activities
• Prepares marketing analysis to discover market potential
• Delivers training to the Sales Engineers
• Customer visits and product demonstrations
• Application analysis and recommending best solution for customer
• Shares best practice
• Decision making and solving technical problems: understands product/application issues and opportunities and acts to meet a solution
• Act within B2B business of hi-tech products with global industrial customers
• Works in team as well as individually, participates on interesting marketing activities

REQUIREMENTS:
• Technical background (mechanics/engineering/electronic/computer)
• MS Office package (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
• Sales experience is an advantage
• SAP and C4S are advantage
• English – full professional, Czech, Polish or Slovak – native
• Driving distance 4 hours to Bratislava
